Well this might be it..an end of an ERA..this not like LE raiding the place and a few moths later they are back.The timing of this makes me feel this is a Federal crack down.How do you come back from something like that. Time to go to Thailand or the Philippines..IMHO

Been wanting to go travel, will just need a lot of sedatives for the flight lol.
Do you think they will really end? They all come back and pop up elsewhere. Seen an article about the amount of massage parlors. There are more mc'd in some states compared to an amp.

Makes sense that it could be Federal. Rounding up illegals. Not likely that they'd publicize it very much, not in keeping with their character, generally. But the mob behind these places probably won't be deterred by that, just add some fresh faces and let ICE round 'em up and send 'em back. Over and over.

Still, it's a legitimate cause for concern. Who knows what information they'll develop or how they'll use it later?

Went there and took a look at the notice on the door, it’s not federal. Seems the city or county went with low hanging fruit and dinged them on a health or building code thing rather than anything criminal

I don’t know but business get a hell of a lot worse violations and they are not closed down.In two weeks if they are sill closed got be something bigger.They will be losing a hell of a lot of cash. Only time will tell.. IMHO it is something bigger but then again I will admit it , if I am wrong

I think you're right. Feds have limited original authority to jostle a local business. So, they sometimes solicit a local civil enforcement authority to go in with them. Obviates the need for a search warrant. Health inspectors don't need warrants. Feds "go with" and wham, buncha illegals rounded up. You have to think that, under this administration, these Feds are given quotas to meet, or fall prey to DOGE, so, any way you peel the onion is fine.

Doesn’t this feel like (Staff edit)There’s always going to be exploitation in some manner with anything, but I’d be willing to guess that very very few of us would choose an illicit operation for services over a legal, regulated brothel giving providers protections and necessary care for their sexual health.

One day I think this will happen. One day… and just like waiting for the (Staff edit), or in this case prostitution, it’ll be fines and or jail time which is just stupid.

Sex trafficking thrives off the black market in the U.S. Super high demand to fuck when in a country with snotty, spoiled ass attitudes among American women. It’s no wonder the market is blowing up.

Don't know about the snotty, spoiled-ass wife part. I wasn't that unlucky, but I can't see it ever be legitimized. The Republicans couldn't do it, not even Trump, and he's obsessed with pussy. The Democrats might do it, if we're talking about gay, trans, minority prossies. That's right up their alley. But Democrats are obsessed with the concept that any woman who "falls prey" to doing this must be being victimized by males. They cannot believe that any woman would ever choose to do this, unless "she" was a gay trans minority.
