The former chairman was a huge advocate of DEI. He's a political general and not a fighting general. Marshall was a good political general but they needed someone else to lead the armies in Europe. Now Eisenhower had no fighting experience except against American veterans so they had to find fighting generals. Enter Bradley and Patton.

A strong advocate of DEI has no place in the current Pentagon and they can't move him up. So he's out and I suspect he is not the last.

Did a rough review of Durham report. Mention of politial people, intelligence agencies, agencies that do criminal investigations. But I saw no reference to the military.

Could you please point out in that report where there is a linking of commander in chief and head of Joints Chiefs of Staff?
