Question for the Mods
I made a comment on a thread that "I read the ROS and I am surprised it was a yes" and private was added by the Mods. I did not mention anything that was said in the ROS. I appreciate that I was not given infraction points - but I am not sure why this needed to be private.
I think the recommendation was deceptive - probably not intentional - but still pretty deceptive.
If the goal is to deny non-premium members any information other than the basics why even let them see any comments beyond the original post?
I am just trying to better understand the rules.

Sir
Since you want to discuss this and not send a PM asking the question You are not being open that is not the post that you received a Pm from the staff, you had multiple posts that private tags were not used when they needed to be. Private tags need used when there are any discussions related to information in the ROS, answering questions and comments in these tags or openly discussing pricing for services when not listed in a providers ad.
Hope that ads clears up your confusion

Dr-epg. I asked the question here because I thought that was what I was supposed to do.
First, you are 100% correct - that I have received several emails - warning - and even points for divulging info in public that should have been private. Clearly things that I did wrong and deserved.
But my question has nothing to do with that. I am not going to divulge what thread this is pertaining to - because I am not looking to cause trouble.
I simply said - "I have read the rest of service and I think the yes recommendation is deceptive." - which was then made private by the mod (you?). I did not reveal any info in the ROS. So I am legitimately trying to understand what is acceptable public comments. If I had simply said - "I think a yes is deceptive" would that have been acceptable?
Thank-you!
I thought my comment was pretty innocuous - but it was not acceptable.
Are we not allowed to question recommendations? I am okay with whatever the rules are - I just want to understand them so I can remain a member in good standing.

Sir
If I remember correctly you did not get a warning or points for this I merely added the private tags since you read the ROS and were openly questioning the Yes This is letting the members know the ROS is not suggesting a yes was warranted This is still giving away the premis of the ROS. Some members always say yes even if the was a no show. So to be consistent private tags were added
