Think you forgot to put in those CPI figures to support your posts.

Better idea...Why don't you provide some evidence/proof/examples that grocery prices are going down?
Here's some 'proof' for ya.
It's 2025 and breakfast food prices continue to soar
https://www.foxbusiness.com/economy/...-continue-soar
“The cost of groceries in the U.S. increased 1.8% from a year earlier in December, rising at the fastest pace in more than a year, according to Labor Department data released last week. The cost of food overall was 0.3% higher in December, after increasing 0.4% in November,”
https://www.convenience.org/Media/Da...Rising_Finance
The good news? Grocery prices are expected to rise at a slower rate.

Oh yeah...and there's this
The latest data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased 3.0% over the prior year in January, an uptick from December's 2.9% annual gain in prices.
The index rose 0.5% over the previous month, the largest monthly headline increase since August 2023 and a slight acceleration from the 0.4% rise seen in December.
The Consumer Price Index (CPI) out Wednesday showed headline consumer inflation rose more than forecast in January. "Core" prices — which strip out the more volatile costs of food and gas — reversed the previous month's easing, up 0.4% over last month and 3.3% over last year, with both rates higher than in December.

Trump voters clearly wanted more unaffordable groceries and gas. If Trump maintains these tariffs (I suspect he’ll withdraw them and lie about all the confessions he got in return), the level of pain that people will start feeling could get very bad. If they think groceries are expensive now, wait until gas prices spike another dollar and the cost of daily used goods and food increases. That, along with no one to work the fields in the US since we’re mass deporting, will lead to even further increases in grocery bills.
Will right wing media and social media be able to sell “the pain hurts go good” to average people.

We have a debt based economic system. It wouldn't have mattered who won the 2024 election. Things would have been much worse had Kamala won in my opinion. Nobody can undo what's already been done in the past because too many trillions have been borrowed and printed just since the year 2000. The American poor and middle class are just being cucked between voting Democrat or Republican with no real change at hand. When will the American people wake up and realize that voting Democrat or Republican isn't working?

‘BEEP BEEP BEEP’: Trump Adviser Walks Back Lower Prices Promise as Truck Literally Backs Up During Live Hit
“Can you – without invoking the past administration – guarantee that prices won’t rise because of these tariffs?”
HASSETT: I, you know, prices move up [BEEP], prices move down [BEEP]. That’s the way the world works, right? [BEEP] The economy, uh [BEEP]
VITALI: Yeah, but you’re an economist. [BEEP] You forecast trends like this [BEEP]. Will consumers see prices rise?
HASSETT: My expectation [BEEP] is that prices [BEEP] will fluctuate. [BEEP] And that when economists study the fluctuations of the prices that they’ll wonder what the causes were. And there will be many. And so, am I confident that there won’t be strong evidence of a price effect of tariffs? Yes, I am confident.

If you could post an index of prices of all consumer goods in your local store, i'm sure others here would like to know and have a link to it. They'll get a big swing in business if they are crushing the CPI numbers.

He's claiming that the whole USA doesn't live in the microcosm that you do. It must be nice in that very tiny place.
The rest of the country who are suffering under the reneging of donnys campaign promises.
