Actually Trump did more to stop Russia's invasion of Ukraine and Biden basically gave them the green light to do it as soon as he got in office.


Same with Iran spreading violence in the middle east.

I do not put blame on anybody for Putin deciding to invade Ukraine .
This is Eastern European Politics. We in the West do not understand their mindset.

Ukraine wanted to be a separate Country. Why. The single biggest reason is they are one of the chief bread baskets of the Region. Compared to most of Russia, it is an absolute paradise.
However, the political mindset of the Region is steeped in corruption. They make Chicago style politics look minor league. The truth is, none of these Countries in that Region trust each other. They will historically sell out to the highest bidder.

Russia has good reason to want to keep Ukraine in their sphere of influence. A lot has to do with Ukraines tremendous agriculture. Also, Russia never will trust Germany or France. Keep in mind, in their world, it was only 170 years ago when France was at the door steps of Moscow, and Germany was in the same spot just over 80 years ago. Thank God for Mother Winter.
I really believe that the Russians think as Ukraine as the extension of post WW-2 Naziism. When you look at the Ukrainian Government, their mindset, their symbols, the Ukrainians do little to dispel this.

So what do we do. Threaten to Nuke Russia if it invades? Start WW-3 in the European Theater. Have thousands slaughtered because one corrupt regime wants to take over another corrupt regime.

We can try to keep them all happy with bribes, handouts, and appeasement.

It all comes back to the fact that even though we would like to think this is “modern times” and the powers that be know better, it’s a charade. Human Nature dictates that there will always be those that covet what others have. The Demagogue knows how to exploit this.

That entire situation is a nut that probably can not be cracked. How do we know this?

History tells us, that’s how. This entire Region has been at war with its self for centuries. Do you really think a Country that is less than 300 years in existence are going to dictate to them what they should do, or believe.

It’s Eastern European Politics.

Possibly the best thing we can be thankful for is the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean.
