41 pages lol

Is it that hard to agree AB made a mistake with bud light and it fucked their sales up?

Yes I know HD is looking at the big picture and Berry is centered on bud light...... both are correct in some manner

Defending a horrible decision is useless unless again you broaden the picture

They fucked up. They know it. O e day corps are going g to figure out to stick to neutral topics or they pay the price

Good god man, that’s like reading stereo instructions. I want to scratch my eyes out with a pitchfork. It did bolster the feeling that it was the correct decision not to be a business major, or anything remotely similar. How many people on the planet give AF what their revenue per hectoliter is? 4?

I only wish they would boycott something I like, so, I could get it cheaper.

OOOOF

Ad exec doesn't see how Bud Light recovers from sales crash: Americans 'spoke with their pocketbooks'
.
.
"We're seeing one of the first casualties of the new economy, the "Bidenomics," diversity and equity and inclusion. We call them the deadheads, D-E-D, diversity equity, we drop off the inclusion, but we call them deadheads because everything that they touch, Trump says it best, I think … it turns to crap. And that's what we're seeing here."
.
.
"It cost Anheuser-Busch, it cost InBev $27 billion in market cap and a $400 million loss in real revenue to realize that people just want to drink their beer without a debate. … And they do not want to have a message shoved down their throat."

That shoved down the throat narrative is pretty damn stale unless you were already following Mulvaney on Tiktok or Insta...

Yet so many folks seem happy to close their eyes, open thier mouths and play "gawk gawk" with certain talking points

No one at Bud Light or AB put this out there as an ad on TV yet you'd think they bought a Super Bowl spot given the amount of attention.

In other news, Joe Rogan was drinking Bud Light this week and has some thoughts on the boycott

Sorry, you are so prolific of a poster... I must have missed one or twelve dozen. Weird logic to me, but you do you.

The hits just keep on coming !!!

Anheuser-Busch heir says ancestors would be 'rolling over in their grave' over Bud Light's Dylan Mulvaney ad

Anheuser-Busch heir Billy Busch blasted Bud Light over the controversy stemming from its brief partnership with transgender activist Dylan Mulvaney.

Bud Light faced intense criticism after announcing in the spring that it was partnering with Mulvaney in a campaign aimed at inclusiveness that included Mulvaney's face on Bud Light cans. Anheuser-Busch, Bud Light's parent company, lost billions in market value after the partnership.

In an interview with TMZ on Friday, Busch told host Harvey Levin that he believes his ancestors would be disappointed in the Mulvaney ad campaign.
.
.
.
"You know, I think people who drink beer, I think they're your common folk. I think they are the blue-collar worker who goes and works hard every single day," Busch said. "The last thing they want pushed down their throat or to be drinking is a beer can with that kind of message on it. I just don't think that's what they're looking for. They want their beer to be truly American, truly patriotic, as it always has been. Truly, America's beer, which Bud Light was and probably isn’t any longer."

When pressed on why he does not believe the beer is American anymore, Busch said he does not think the audience drinking beer "is into transgenders … People who drink beer care about wholesome things."

Busch added that he believes beer drinkers are into patriotism and think that "certain things should be kept private."

I didn't follow it too closely at the time but I believe Billy B was running the company when it got blasted for trying to market an alcohol energy drink flavor additive that people felt was marketed at underage consumers. Not long after that the Busch family lost the company though profited considerably in the process. I wonder how his ancestors felt about that move.

It does seem that Republicans are happy to take funds from the company. In an election cycle many things are possible.
