The issue visa vi Property taxes in Texas is that it is the single biggest chunk for most. I think they are higher than they need to be. More on that later. BTW: the school district is the single biggest component of it. Also, Texas has a homestead exemption on your primary (2 actually) property, which reduces the tax and a law that keeps your taxes from increasing no more than ten percent per year, as well as freezing the property taxes for the rest of your life at 65 yrs old. Did you forget that several new laws and amendments were passed this year concerning property taxes?


Considering the above, what services do you want to reduce or eliminate? How about school safety?

I don't hate Trump. I just think he was grossly unfit for his job as a leader of this great country. And I've said many times, I believe the same about Biden but one skunk smells worse than the other to me. That's just my opinion.

As far as looking the other way about Biden, he is the president. He won't be much longer once 2024 arrives. I don't care for the man, but he is our president so I will treat him with the respect that he deserves just like I did with Trump when he was POTUS.
