I agree and if the SC rules a certain way there are many states already set to outlaw abortion.

You may be right but I just don't see how this "Republican issue" if one can call it that, will over ride the economy, the border, authoritarian mandates, what children will be taught and not taught in public schools and what we are going to do about China is what Democrats will be forced to defend their position on.

This case will have a conclusion in June probably, so if the court affirms the Mississippi law which will not overturn Roe but lower the time ( 24 to 15 ) a woman has to choose, the Democrats have their one hope of keeping power. You would have to have deep, deep feelings on the issue of abortion and both sides have those people but I just can't see basing your vote on one issue but I'm sure their is a minority of people who do that.

Some points I heard today while listening to public radio:

1. Does the unborn FETUS have rights before it's born? You have to be born to have rights as a citizen. That is in the Constitution.

2. Since it is established I have every right to hold my ground and defend myself from a threat, why doesn't that extend to the medical threat of a deadly pregnancy?

3. (My favorite) The hypocrisy of the conservatives who demand all pregnancies come to term, but won't participate in paying taxes to support the poor mother who should not have been raped.

Im looking at the whole picture.You kinda are on a tangent but were on the same page.
We have many more important issues yet Republicans in office are fixated on abortion. Its legal, needed and we should leave it alone. The consequences for this one issue are generational and seismic for whats at stake.

For Texas gov.. abbott will not be getting my vote. And I will not vote for a democrat. Ill either leave that space blank or not vote. abbott went to far on this issue. wheels fucked up
