A Georgia state senator and lieutenant governor hopeful vowed to investigate all election fraud in the state. In a campaign ad released on Monday, Sen. Burt Jones (R-Ga.) made fun of Democrat reactions to the calls for voter fraud investigations in Georgia.
Jones went on to question why the left has reacted in such a manner if there truly was no fraud.
“Let me ask you a simple question: if there wasn’t any cheating or fraud in the 2020 election, why every time we call for a full investigation does Stacey Abrams and the Democrats respond like this?” he questioned. “Pretty much tells you everything you need to know.”
Jones has won praise from President Trump as a result of his consistent push for election integrity. The Trump ally filed paperwork to run for lieutenant governor as incumbent Geoff Duncan maintained he would not seek reelection.
