Once the Americans are out, it should be time to bomb Afghanistan, that should end that 20 years war, but I do not think Biden has the balls to do it. It would have cost less money if they would have done it before sending troops there those many years ago and have thousands of American lives lost for nothing now it seems.

All those people that helped the U.S. are going to die one way or another, so they might as well take most of the Taliban with them and then go after Pakistan in the same manor.

The areas taken over in the last few months were contested areas. It isn't like they were solid won territories. The taliban was pretty beat down ten years ago at about 20% of the size it is today, about the time we took out Bin Laden. The war should have ended there, and largely it did a few years later as major operations were shut down. During this time to 2021 is when the Afghan people should have risen up and drafted a military of 1 million or more able bodied men and women. That didn't happen so it is too late for them now.
