Allegedly failing to pay taxes on fringe benefits is pretty earth shattering , How much resources were dedicated to finding out about this dastardly plot?

I’m sure people making under 100 k a year will have sympathy
Not
Let the indictment play out
Heard weisy son pleading with old man to take a deal
Maybe young weisy doesn’t like thought of jail
Those rich snob kids Change real fast when looking at rice and beans for a few years with Leroy watching him every day
Let’s wait

Trumps defenders point to the Democrats and try to provide excuses how they’re even doing worse things than Trump did.
I am a Republican. Trump said he’d release his taxes and didn’t keep to his word. He lied to every single one of us. Then he actually tried to block release of the same returns that he promised to release willingly. As American #1, he should have been the shining example of civic responsibility. I don’t cheat on my taxes, and I don’t think that’s really much of a possibility for 90% of the population. You can’t hide what you don’t have, and it’s not worth the risk of being audited to play “creative accountant” for a few hundred dollars.
But not paying taxes on tuition for an exclusive private school for a several students is by no means minor, and this is something that would have been obvious to any business person operating at this level. Any sort of compensation you receive from your employer is most likely taxable, and someone who is highly compensated is going to be knowledgeable of this. Regardless, ignorance is not innocence.
Trump deserves a full, zero-tolerance audit from the IRS.
That said, the Democrats are just as bad or worse. Biden is an idiot, and the means by which he picked his VP were both pathetic and telling, He’s weak and foolish, and should not be in charge of a pack of Cub Scouts, let alone the entire United States.

Who do you like in 2024?
I like what Ron DeSantis is doing with state laws to protect Florida from horrible decisions in DC. He manahed Covid-19 decisions q better than any other governor despite the being tarfeted by the corporate media smear machine.

There’s also no reason he can’t release his returns even if they are in audit.
But at least he had the common sense not to pull the plug on Afghanistan all at once. Biden is going to throw that country back into the Middle Ages, the Taliban can’t wait to turn the soccer stadiums into detention/concentration camps again. Biden maybe be the first man who has screwed an entire nation of women all at once. Oh wait, this is a “kinder, gentler Taliban”.
