Poll : concerning the $220 new price that $20 of that goes directly to the “ influencer “ are you ok w paying $220 or $200 like it has always been.

While I don't visit spas on a regular basis, I am amazed at the amount of traction this discussion has garnered. The discussion is pointless, if you don't want to pay $220 don't go irregardless of how the funds are distributed. If you want an amp that charges $200, you are in a country that allows you to start your own business, thus you can "influence" the market. Grow up and stop whining.

Except that's not how the market works. Price is driven by customers, not the business. It's up to the business to convince the customers that the cost is worth it, through sincere or indirect means. I suspect all the white knighting for a bunch of whores falls into the latter category.

So here’s the math. If the influencer price reduces volume by a ratio of 2:1 because of the price increase then has the influencer really improved the business? Think of economics 101 and price elasticity. Where’s the net gain?

And from the customer perspective ten visits now costs me 2200 versus 2k. I get one less visit. Fuck that! I want my eleventh visit but instead have paid out 2420 instead of 2200. I’ve now paid an extra 220 to some fucking schmuck for eleven visits! So for that reason I’m out! Way fucking out!
