Those that work with Covid patients don't wear a single mask that public is using. They have full virus PPE outfits. So bottom line is the public masks are not the same as the health care workers masks.

The P95 masks work. Most hospital employees have access to the P95 masks.

The little blue masks keeps an infected person from giving it someone else. If you're wearing the little blue mask and have a conversation with an infected person who does not have a mask for longer than 10 minutes, there is a good chance you would get infected. That's why the social distancing of six feet is so important. You want to keep your distance when you can. The USA has 17 million cases because people don't want to wear masks or social distance. Trump, former Gov Christy and Rudy G got infected with CV19. They didn't wear masks or practice social distancing. All three of them got treated with the Regeneron and Remdesivir and recovered. These treatments are now available to the public but are in short supply. Hospitals have to ration them out.

The reality is that many health care workers - particularly in Wuhan virus care facilities - do contract wuhan virus, and some die as a result.

That is not true. In post #41 Bf0082 posted two things.

1. Masks generally work for hospital workers.

2. Some hospital workers get infected with CV19.

In post #51 you give an example of a doctor from China who got infected with CV19 and died. This does not negate what BF0082 posted in POST #41. BF0082 acknowledged that some hospital workers get infected. Also, your post does not prove that masks and social distancing are not effective in containing the CV19 spread. This was the whole point of post #41.
