The best part is that it wasnt the FBI that arrested him. It was the United States Postal Inspection Service.

Quite a significant amount of detailed factual evidence pleaded in this indictment. If the prosecutors can prove even half of it—and there’s no reason to believe they can’t prove all of it—they have the defendants dead to rights. It’s an open-and-shut wire fraud case. Major prison exposure for Bannon.

If he flips you have to realize that it is because he knows that Trump won't be around to pardon him.

That's a distinction without a difference. It does not rebut the point about NY liberal bias against Trump.

If anything, NY state courts are even more biased than NY federal courts.

So, the point still stands.

Also, federal courts can charge state law violations against criminal defendants if there are also federal charges that can be combined with the state charges.

In the case of fraud, there are almost ALWAYS grounds for a federal charge because the federal wire fraud statutes are so broad. It is practically impossible to commit a large scale fraud without using phones or the internet.

Trumpers forgive the guy for stealing the "build the wall" money. They don't care about anything but winning even if they know they are voting for a criminal enterprise. They lie, steal, cheat. Trumpers just shrug it off.

Bannon Was Busted on Luxury Yacht Owned by Billionaire Chinese Fugitive

https://www.thedailybeast.com/gtv-me...-investigation

Quote:
The notoriously anti-China populist, who has also railed against the “global elites,” was arrested by inspectors from the U.S. Postal Service while cruising Long Island Sound in the $28 million vessel Lady May. Just the day before his arrest, Bannon appeared to host a podcast episode from the yacht and even interviewed We Build the Wall’s founder Brian Kolfage to promote the fundraiser.

Now.. we all know I dislike Trump... but....

While Bannon is most likely involved in this scam (he IS known as a grifter)... Trump literally has nothing to do with it, other than the fact that they used his Wall plan as a way to create a scam.

Trump isn't involved in this one-- he's been distancing himself from Bannon for quite some time now. He learned that the price to pay for Bannon using Breitbart to help him get elected... was entirely too steep.. and he learned just how much of a shit human Bannon really is. Or rather.. he has always known, but decided to use it to his advantage until the disadvantages started outweighing the advantages.

Once again-- it wouldn't surprise me if they have him dead to rights-- but it really has nothing to do with Trump.
