Occasionally we may issue specific instructions or direction to a poster and we ask that you respect those instructions and follow them. Disregarding a moderator's written instruction or repeating a violation for which you have been warned will most certainly result in penalty.

In post #40, Dr-epg gave specific instructions to get back on topic.

I would strongly advise the membership to adhere to written instructions...

DJ, in all due respect, I’m not sure most here know that Dr Epg is a mod. He’s not listed as one in the Pgh forum. On a second look, he does have a mod title under his handle. But he’s been around as long as me and I had no idea he was a mod. I think that’s pretty obvious. Can you clarify if his mod duties include the Pgh forum? If so, post it along with yours and Gmans. While I believe the Dr resides in Erie, he’s been a part of the W.Pa hobby scene for a longtime and brings much needed perspective to this forum. The last local mod we had was BSer. I think that’s a plus.

True, but I had no idea he was a mod. He’s used the same handle and avatar for years. I don’t look to see if someone’s a “valued poster” or has “premium access” I see their handle or avatar. The tone of Dr-epg's post should have been enough to draw the membership's attention that something is amiss.

When I am absent from the Forums, I will often times enlist the aid of an outside member of Staff to assist with my covered areas.

Sorry DJ, I disagree. His tone was the same as others in different threads who are just members. Someone will comment about the tone of a thread who isn’t a mod. Ok, the point is the Dr is actually a mod. That’s good to know. So now, I know. I didn’t know it yesterday. I’m pretty sure no one else in this forum knew either.
