So you're saying that they are only supporting Biden to the extent that they believe he can win an election, and once that happens they themselves will try to replace him.

Why not just keep the bumbling idiot and continue to move him around like a chess piece or some other inanimate object after he is (presumably)elected then?

I see no reason under this theory to make any attempt to get rid of an empty suit like Biden under any circumstances. No matter who replaces him, how can that person possibly be as malleable as Biden, the moron.
