Default Forget $1,200 , $2,000 the new wave? Emergency money for people act

New legislation proposed by house Democrats would give Americans $2,000 a month until employment returns to
pre- covid-19 levels

What are your thoughts?

Fascist DPST's are pandering for votes - they want to lock down the economy until 2021 or 2022 - to destroy most of the small business in america to match their socialist -totalitarian ideology. And destroy any large business by annexing to government control.

we need to open the economy up - this virus is lower case mortality than Influenza a - but all the world politicians are running scared of it over re-election.

Trump is on the right track - re-open the economy before the DPST's destroy it and open the door for China to walk in and take over - and make slaves of every One of Us.
gov Gruesome in kalifornia wants to lock everythinig down for a vacccine - which might be years. He is loving the control and silent streets - fits the Soylent Green New Deal ideology perfectly.

Not to mention that such a payment will totally bankrupt America - and cause hyperinflation.

It is to turn America in Venezuela - and Gov gruesome sees himiself as Maduro - the only correct thought in that idiot's head.

Typical progressive bullshit.

The unemployment rate in 2019 was an historic low. It might never get back to 3.2% - or at least not in our lifetimes.

So, that's basically a program for a $2000 per month universal income. Welfare for everybody.

We will borrow money to pay it, because our taxes won't support it. Our national debt will bankrupt us in short order, then there will be nationwide austerity for the rest of our lives. Even with no defense budget.

We are sunk.

One of the biggest issues in that thought process is that the current legislation has provided an extra $600 a week for those unemployed during this period for several months. Another $2K would essentially boost those to more than an extra $50K per year.

And the return to pre covid-19 levels. What does that mean. We may never reach those historic numbers again.

I'm guessing people didn't look at the pictures of the Venezuelan money in the streets

Just call me the bad guy because I completely think the economy needs to open back up now
I understand people are going to get sick and die but it is what it is

Our economy is about to sink and our dollar is about to be worthless if we just keep letting people sit at home meanwhile handing them checks

These checks are more than what some low-income workers make. I've said it before but why would you want to work if you can sit at home and make more money?

I also want to tell y'all about my experience in Walmart yesterday .

over the past few weeks I've been to Walmart several times.

And Walmart specifically they have greeters at the door that will guide you to a sanitized cart.. also workers have been wearing masks at Walmart.. at least over the past two weeks.

now I'm not trying to say there's a correlation with this but yesterday when I went to Walmart I saw several NEW employees not wearing masks and there was also no one there too hand me a sanitized cart. I saw some that didn't even have on Walmart uniforms working cash registers..

it seems as if some have got those checks and bounced but I could be wrong

because keep in mind you are allowed under new legislation to quit your job because of coronavirus . You don't have to get fired to get unemployment. And with lower pay jobs you will make more money between the stimulus plus unemployment.. and that's not including the new proposed $2,000 payment that is simply $600 a week plus unemployment
