It's funny watching you try and back peddle your ridiculous posts titles that you get suckered into posting without thinking through.
So now you apparently agree that the auto bailout and the farm "subsidies"(not now a bailout) are indeed not an apples to apples comparison.
And to call the auto bailouts as "paid" back is rather laughable as well. Weren't they to the tune of about $85 Billion when doled out?

How the Cool Kids of the Left Turned on Elizabeth Warren
Quote:
As the 2020 campaign has unfolded, Warren has, if anything, tacked toward Bernie, embracing “Medicare for All” and free college, and making a wealth tax the centerpiece of her platform. Still,in the pages of Jacobin, Warren has gone from seeming like a close second to Sanders to being a member of the neoliberal opposition, perhaps made even worse by her desire to claim the mantle of the party’s left.

Is the goal to help people at the bottom of the ladder so they become more prosperous? Or to make everyone poorer, especially the wealthy? Warren's and Sanders' policies would accomplish the latter.
According to the OECD, the USA has the most progressive tax system among developed countries.
Is there good data for the Gini coefficient going back to before the Great Depression? I'm not sure. In any event, if you adjust for taxes and transfers, the Gini coefficient now would be significantly lower. You're probably looking at data that use before tax income, and don't account for progressive taxation, social security, welfare, Medicare and Medicaid, the earned income tax credit, etc.

Yes. "Make everyone poorer" in this context means "make everyone worse off."

I'm not sure about the Millenials. They're a different breed, and more of them will be voting than baby boomers before long.

First off, where did I defend farm welfare anywhere.
I'm simply pointing out your ridiculous OP comparison of the Farm "bailout" so far being double the Auto Bailout.
And now you post something showing a profit on the original bank and auto bailout a full six years after it took place.
You really do get caught up in the rhetoric you read without thinking it through don't you.
