Excellent points! I've been with a few different women who have been able to squirt, and the only consistent thing is that they're all different. Some gush, some flood, some guyser. They've always loved it though!

It's essentially just the release of urine through sexual stimulation. So it's basically just like peeing. I've been w/ multiple "squirters". The Skene's gland is essentially the female prostate which surrounds the female urethra.
This is where the fluid comes from. But women can also pee at the same time if their bladder has urine in it.

Females can have poorly developed urethra sphincter valves which close
off urine flow during orgasam. Which is also why a woman can pee during orgasam.
Men have better developed valves and usually cannot.

This is where the confusion comes in. Because it can be urine from the bladder
or fluid from the skene's gland, or both.
