religion is a personal matter, a personal journey.

it doesn't matter what you believe, others have no right to impose their religious view on you or onto others. nor should it be made to mock or make fun of others.

that why it should not be here.

In this case I have to somewhat agree with WTF.

Religion and politics end up going hand in hand or are even in essence the same thing.

I consider lefty/socialist zealots like Bernie, AOC, and many other lefties as practicing their own form of religion. Some are simply pandering, but some have actually set it up as a fundamental belief only system that defies any logic.

wtf do you believe politics is but imposing your views over another? (Well unless you're libertarian )

Take abortion , politicians use it in the religious community to gin up VOTES!

Both worlds run hand in hand.

501's...."We want tax exempt status to shape others views!"

You really should not be running to the Mod in this instance.

There was a time in my life when I was lost and I did not know what to believe.

I had proven to myself that spirits exist.

So I prayed, asking for guidance.

God gave me guidance and proved to me that God exists.

I could recite the details, it is a long story. But even if I did simply reading my story would not convince anyone else. It is my story.

See, now those are the kinds of answers one is looking for.

I do not care who or what someone believes in....it is just a belief.

I do care if their beliefs want to try and limit MY beliefs.

This is why religion and politics go hand in hand....they are a series of beliefs that we try and impose on others. I of course believe my beliefs superior as a libertarian in a either or country.

Is this attempt to link religion and politics just about abortion? Is it an attempt to say conservatives are "hypocrites" to be against abortions when some (not all) are married blokes on a hooker site? Is the attempt of the initial post to elevate liberalism over conservatism based on hypocrisy? Why is the automatic assumption Conservatives are against abortion because of religion? That is "small" thinking. Why can't Conservatives be against abortion because of simple middle school biology? Why can't the reason be that the "mass of cells" to be aborted (that are meaningless in Liberal circles) has an entirely unique and separate HUMAN DNA sequence from the mother that makes that "mass of cells" a separate and unique INDIVIDUAL human being? The DNA cannot be attributed to anything else outside the known universe other than that of a human being. I get RvW is the law of the land, there are a lot of laws I don't agree with...the true hypocrisy comes from liberals (who use science as their religion, just look at climate change) who refuse to admit abortion is the willful and lawfully condoned extermination and murder of a unique and individual human being separate from the mother.
