I read something on e-cards a couple of months ago that dovetails right into Mr. Ruiz's advice. It went like this, "Announcing 'I'm offended' is basically telling the world you can't control your own emotions, so every one else should do it for you."
Again, don't take things personally.

Why has this thread turned into a repository of quotes for you and yours? I suggest you two adhere to your own advice, or at a minimum, stay on topic WHICH IS
men violating rules using private tags and calling women names on the open forums. Maybe you two can start a coffee klatch and write a book of pithy advice for women being abused. However, I will caution you that this will require original thoughts, and a genuine love for women.
No man should be allowed to come on this forum and call women HBIC, accuse her of being a "manager," nor call her incall location "a house of ill repute." Whoever she is. BigDeal won't admit that he's addressing me. But everyone knows. I'm not waiting for a coward to grow a conscience.
If a person called a mod a bitch, they'd get an infraction. You guys wouldn't be spouting platitudes then. But you let a companion be called a bitch, and we're told, "Don't take it personally"?
So is that the mod official response then, Scorpio? "Don't take it personally" when a member calls a woman a bitch on the boards? Women should just sit back and be called names on the KC forums since our lead mod has determined that instead of a rules violation, it's a case of "the companion took being called a HBIC personally."
Heard loud and clear. SMDH.
