I was in the neighborhood last night and paid a courtesy call to Top Star for the singular purpose of having a cup of coffee that I hoped would silence the ringing in my head from just a little too much beer earlier in the evening. Along with the caffeine, I got a buzz from hugging Pepsi, who I hadn't seen in some time. She was as cute and personable as ever in jeans, tshirt, touseled hair and almost no make up. I met Sophia for the first time, wearing a fashionable, little black dress, with long, cinnamon tresses and runway model good looks. And to top off my drive-by, Bunny came into the kitchen between customers having nothing on beneath the ubiquitous towel that conceals next to nothing. At that moment, I so wanted to be next to something.
I didn't see Flower or Hera. They may have been working or resting at the time, but 60% coverage while cadging a sobering cup of Joe from the sweetest emo ever was my idea of a satisfying visit.
