XTC New Year’s Shooting

TL;DR: Fight outside the club and 2 security guards shot one of them when he was trying to get away in his truck. After reviewing the FB video(s), the guards were charged with murder.

That is crazy. Sucks for the security guards. Years in prison for a minimum wage job. But they were stupid to have a fire arm and shooting the guy. Shoot his tires man.

If they would have stopped shooting after the first flurry of shots they may have chalked it up to protecting the lady on the ground from getting run over. Chasing him down and finishing him is tough to justify. The video also convicted the security guards.

This is why security guards stand by when people get robbed and beat and killed in casino parking garages.

oh great.. it was bad enough when you had to leave before 11:00, when the Gang Bangers showed up.. now the "Guards" are interchangeable with the Bangers.. both of those guys look like bad news.. you'd be surprised at how little difference there often is, between the "protectors" and the "bad element".

why hasn't the city shut that joint down? I asked this question 5 or 6 shootings ago..

I go to strip clubs to have fun. Some people go looking trouble. Most Security Guards at strip clubs are not trained in law like LE, they are just another citizen with a gun and an itchy trigger finger.

this can not be over-stated! common sense is your friend, don't expect these "Guards" to help you.. you need to be looking out for them, as potential trouble for you.

Now XTC is saying the security guards involved in the shooting on 1/1 weren't hired by the club nor worked for the club.

If that is true, where did they come from then?

Is there any other property next to XTC that is open at night and have customer traffic?

Looking at Google map, unless those security guards were hired by Wingate Hotel next door, I don't buy their story.

If they were part of Wingate, we would had heard from that company by now in a form of a public statement or from the DA office and the police investigating this shooting.

Those security guards can only be from XTC, there is nothing else nearby, bordering their property and their parking lot, that's open at night.

Sounds like they are trying to say that they were parked in the adjacent parking lot. I guess they are referring to the tall office building next door. They are closed at night so that might be where the ‘overflow parking lot’ is for the club. Really surprised that the security guards got involved if this did happen next door.

I think you will start seeing them put up a gate for that parking lot soon. Lol

Look at all these incidents involving their bouncers and security guards beating up customers, shooting them and even shooting a cab driver who was picking up 2 customers that the club kicked out.

And these incidents are not limited to XTC in Dallas, similar incidents have also occured that XTC located in Houston and San Antonio.

Not surprised in the least bit that it was at XTC. I happen to know one of the shooters. He is a punk, and never should have been entrusted in the role.
