I know there are reasons why we cant do a short term availability thread.

But is there some other way? It sucks when you are ready to go; looking hot and ready to trot!

For the guys too. They have set aside the time and are in the mood.

It would be great to be able to reach out to the board and let everyone know.

It would be so helpful for someone like me, who is seeking out Edging / HJ but not full service! I found many FS providers would accomodate at the HJ price level when they weren't booked up.

I agree STA needs to come back!

Seems like we could bring it back if each post had to be approved by a moderator like in weekly or weekend updates.. That way no one could break the rules.. Maybe even say you're not allowed to post in short term more than 3 times per week. Sure.. The moderators would have more work to do but I think it would be appreciated by ladies and gentlemen alike!

I am opposed to reactivating the STA (snatch) thread because the original was a constant nightmare of violations, RTMs to deal with etc. In other words, we don't need any more work or headaches!

However, having said that, I am willing to reconsider my objections and will work with Rocketsurgeon to devise a set of guidelines for the thread that will accomodate the needs of the group, but will likely be very punative for those who don't read and follow the proper procedures.

Suzanna, I see that you have no signature line. You can always consider adding a statement that could read something like, "I might have (or regularly have) immediate availability. Contact me via (your choice, text, PM, email) to see if we can meet."

That is a potential solution for all ladies.

Then she's just a lady, ready to discuss the weather, for a certain number of hours.

And anyone posting anything than a weather discussion gets warnings/infractions until they get it figured out.

I mean, it sounds simple in my mind but perhaps I'm underthinking it...
