Any reason why we can’t see who’s on chat now before logging on to it? It’s a pain to do it, and if you’re on chat there’s non stop coming and going.

Unless someone from the Dallas staff is a chat mod they probably don't have much interaction with the technical side of chat. Probably better asking this in the main national forum or technical forum.

Since the recent outage, names are not shown at the bottom. It will say 0 or unknown users in chat. Names are no longer visible.
