Do you believe that people who carry a pistol are advocating the killing of people? Do you also believe if they train adequately to utilize their pistol when appropriate that they are "advocating the killing of people"?
If so, please don't say so, ok?
I think perhaps you are judging the rest of the world and how they view this country based upon how you view this country from within. Did you really buy into to all that bullshit that Gitmo was a "recruiting" tool for terrorists? Or did you buy the Anti-War/Liberal agenda that ISIS just needed a work program* so they would be able to earn money?
*Do you know that Fox still has that empty-headed nut case on for "opinions" about world affairs?

Enough of this BS, asshole. I served my country in the military. You did not. Fucking coward. And a LYING one at that. I find it strange that you did not choose to defend yourself when I said you were lying.

People enlist for many reasons. Ask those who enlisted as to why they chose to do so.

Most people that end up serving do so because they do not know what else to do to survive, it’s a socioeconomic condition. Rich boys go to college, poor boys go to war, the military preys on the poor, it’s a tragedy, trump didn’t serve because he was rich, end of story. I don’t fault him for dodging the draft, Who in their right mind wants to fight and die.
However being able to escape death because your rich and having someone poor die in your place is so republican it’s pathetic.

And you know I "did not" based on what? So is this where it is learned you snoop around in other people's personal lives, or did you avail yourself of AssUp's offer? You've seen my OMPF?
I find it INFORMATIVE that you didn't respond to my statement that your service was limited to plinking at paper and you've never been in a "live fire" (nontraining) experience ... so you commenting about "war" or "dangers of war" is a bunch of TV bullshit.
You remind me a guy working at a local post office substation who waddles around with a cap and vest on all "patched" up with "Sniper" written on the front of his cap and cross-hairs on the back! I've met those "patches" before.
And you want to talk about "lies"! You are a walking lie.
When you get a fool to call my office and ask insulting questions, almost word for word the tone and style of your postings on this board, you have to be an absolute idiot to believe that one cannot go back upstream and ID who it is and to whom they are related. Your out of your league little boy! You're too simple-minded.

So you didn't serve your country. Good to know!
Since you claim to be a "social science professor" you might find the following informative:
http://www.usna63.org/tradition/hist...ietnamVets.pdf
Taken from U.S. Census information collected:
To show you that you are full of shit I'll quote a few of them
Quote:
9,087,000 military personnel served on active duty during the
Vietnam Era (August 5, 1964 - May 7, 1975).
8,744,000 GIs were on active duty during the war (Aug 5, 1964-
March 28, 1973).
2,709,918 Americans served in Vietnam, this number represents
9.7% of their generation.
25% (648,500) of total forces in country were draftees. (66% of U.S.
armed forces members were drafted during WWII).
Draftees accounted for 30.4% (17,725) of combat deaths in Vietnam.
Total draftees (1965 - 73): 1,728,344.
88.4% of the men who actually served in Vietnam were Caucasian;
10.6% (275,000) were black;
1% belonged to other races.
86.3% of the men who died in Vietnam were Caucasian (includes
Hispanics);
12.5% (7,241) were black;

and to dispel your bullshit ...
https://www.uswings.com/about-us-win...nam-war-facts/
Quote:
Myth: Common belief is that the war was fought largely by the poor and uneducated.
Fact: Servicemen who went to Vietnam from well-to-do areas had a slightly elevated risk of dying because they were more likely to be pilots or infantry officers. Vietnam Veterans were the best educated forces our nation had ever sent into combat. 79% had a high school education or better.

Quote:
Census Stats and “I Served in Vietnam” Wanabees
1,713,823 of those who served in Vietnam were still alive as of August, 1995 (census figures).
During that same Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served was: 9,492,958.
As of the current Census taken during August, 2000, the surviving U.S. Vietnam Veteran population estimate is: 1,002,511. This is hard to believe, losing nearly 711,000 between ’95 and ’00. That’s 390 per day. During this Census count, the number of Americans falsely claiming to have served in-country is: 13,853,027. By this census, FOUR OUT OF FIVE WHO CLAIM TO BE VIETNAM VETS ARE NOT. This makes calculations of those alive, even in 2017, difficult to maintain.
The Department of Defense Vietnam War Service Index officially provided by The War Library originally reported with errors that 2,709,918 U.S. military personnel as having served in-country. Corrections and confirmations to this errored index resulted in the addition of 358 U.S. military personnel confirmed to have served in Vietnam but not originally listed by the Department of Defense (All names are currently on file and accessible 24/7/365).

He's "experience world" is his "fantasy world," based on "fantasy facts" that are fabricated to support his distorted views.
The internet has created too many of them.
