Why do people hate Walmart? You all know they pay even their cart guys over $10 per hour while the cocksuckers like Albertsons and Kroger pay minimum wage. Not to mention those two cocksuckers are also union run.

It also announced it was closing 63 Sams stores and laying off thousands...

Walmart is closing 63 Sam's Club stores across the U.S., the company told Business Insider on Thursday afternoon, after reports of abrupt store closings began to emerge.
Sam's Club has not said how many employees are losing their jobs. Each Sam's Club warehouse employs about 175 people, meaning more than 11,000 people could be impacted.
In some cases, employees were not told their store had closed before showing up to work Thursday. Those employees learned their store would be closing when they found the store's doors locked and a notice announcing the closing, Sam's Club workers told Business Insider. At some stores, employees were turned away by police officers.

Wal-Mart has been closing down stores for a long time now. But they aren't demolishing the buildings nor are they being reopened under another retailer. They are being subsidized by the Federal Government and the Military as Shelters during natural disasters and economic crisis.

Distribution centers for their wanna-be-like Amazon endeavors...... after the 3 Bln acquisition of Jet.com
Try using their WalMart.com site to find an item locally (meaning at the nearest store) .. last time I tried, couldn't do it...nothing but "partners" .....I couldn't find the nearest store for my Magnum condoms....

What? Walmart tends to keep the buildings up hoping someone will be dumb enough to rent it. Walmart is a lousy landlord, they do not like to fix the roofs.

To liberals honest work is beneath them
they usually have rotten apple attitudes also when they are, however fleetingly, in a job

Walmart created their own "public relations" nightmare by summarily firing employees without telling them until they showed up for work the next day!
If that is actually what happened (meaning Walmart was unable to communicate with some of the employees who were scheduled the last day or had electronic communication available).
I'm familiar with one of the Sam's stores closed and it's got to be the newest one in the Houston area ... and in a area devastated by Harvey.

Maybe we can find someone dumb enough to bet that GDP is going to be over 4% like the big bambino says some people are saying!
