I was thinking one of Ford's cavalry trilogy on that one, but was leaning towards She Wore a Yellow Ribbon for some reason. Didn't feel confident enough about that one to venture the guess, which I guess was ultimately good.
Don't recognize the current entry.

Cheers,

Assuming this picture is the next entry, I'm going to say it's The Greatest Show on Earth.

(Mostly because that's the only circus movie I know of. )

Cheers,

You believe correctly. This scene shows Jimmy Stewart playing St. Louis Cardinals third baseman "Dutch" Holland, getting the bad news that he's being recalled to active duty in the Air Force.

Clean shaven John Wayne in the cavalry... I'm going to guess Fort Apache (I seem to be stuck in a John Ford rut for some reason)...

It is a John Ford Movie - but not Fort Apache
Answer - 3 Godfathers (1948 Version)

John Ford had made this film in 1936 with Chester Morris and Walter Brennan and Lewis Stone and was not satisfied with it, so he redid the movie this time with John Wayne, Harry Carey Jr. and Pedro Armendáriz.

In keeping with the season; and the approach of Halloween, I provide the following more contemporary submission:
