Care to cite the poll to which you are referring?

Here is a recent poll that states that the % of people who believe that kneeling during the national anthem is inappropriate has decreased from 61% to 55% in the last year. 41% think it is appropriate, up from 32%. Most of those who think it is inappropriate are white men who voted for Trump.

Whatever one's viewpoint on the issue is, it seems to be that Trump's comments/tweets may have moved more people to support the athletes who are kneeling. On this issue I have no strong feelings one way or the other. It is not going to change my viewing habits of NFL games. I do like what the Dallas Cowboys did prior to their game on Monday night. Showed support for the protesters but also showed respect for the national anthem.

I don't have to. You just did! Thank you!

BTW: Who gives a shit who they "supported" in the election?

Besides you?

Perhaps most of the people who voted for Trump don't believe that the United States of America "oppresses Blacks and people of color," which means they are smarter than those who didn't vote for Trump!

I pledge allegiance...liberty and justice for all.

I am saying there are us citizens who feel they are not included in the "all" part and therefore don't feel inclined to stand for a flag that doesn't provide the same sense of liberty and justice that it does for everyone else.

I understand why veterans would be upset if it was directed towards them.

I think a lot of veterans are upset that their sacrifice to assure that liberty and justice for all is being hampered by police who disregard people of color.

Will those vets ever kneel? Never! That flag covered their friend on the ride home and they wish to God it was them instead being covered by it.

Their friend is dead and his or her sacrifice is more than enough to cover ALL with liberty and justice.

There is a problem here when so many feel they do not have that same liberty. That veteran's sacrifice may seem a little in vein to those.

You are damn sure not supposed to be wearing the flag like this....yet you cocksuckers are mad about taking a knee?

I'm still not sure why you are even mad. It is a form of peaceful protest.

In typical Twitler fashion, he keeps razzing them about ratings.

This isn't a sportsman. And it damned sure isn't a president.

It's a sleazy snake oil salesman running a misdirection play, And, most importantly, just a nasty racist some of a bitch. Period,

Predictably, the lemmings are following him over the cliff.

A problem is with the statement the "definitions" of what is "liberty" and what is "justice." But I suspect those terms, like many, in constitutions, bills of right, and statutes are intentionally vague to encompass the unforeseen as our society changes.

All that is well and good. That has nothing to do with the spurious protest in which the basis is that the United States of America "suppresses Blacks and people of color"! That's simply false!

And the real proof of it being a false statement is asking the knucklehead when did the United States of America start "suppressing Blacks and people of color"? When he was born? When he started college? When he was hired to play pro-ball? When Obaminable was elected in 2008? When Obaminable was re-elected in 2012? Or August of 2016?

Predictably, LL tries to push out yet another LIE! Doubling down on everything but his own inability to read.

Why do you have to lie in every fuckig post, LLiarMan?

Your lying has effectively killed this forum.

Soon, it's just going to be you, TW, the Pissants, SLOBBRIN and BUTTPLUG. Chit, that's almost what it is now.

That's not enough for a circle jerk.

Damned sure not enough for a lynch mob.

It's all on you, closet queen.

I'll pass it along. If it weren't for Trump you wouldn't have gotten the benefit of a pic of all those male asses, right?

This is the part in the debate where LLiarMan realizes he's been caught in another lie and desperately tries to pivot the conversation to something more acceptable to the three or four people who have stuck around in this forum.

That would be male gay sex.

Anybody else find this liar's bullshit tedious?

Yeah, he's down to that again.

Expect the rest of this thread not to be about the NFL protest but about cock sucking and buttfucking.
