I did some unscientific research. Most of the ladies on BP, with Instagram accounts, have never posted anything on Instagram. Or if they have, it was one time to post a selfie. So Golard, you're right.

So: The big problem with many of the social media sites is the requirement that one has to also post their phone number. Watch out for that, your cell phone number should be closely guarded because the danger of being widely published has been compared to passing out your social security number. (I think that is exaggerated.)

So we all know how to have a set of stuff for our playtime Id's, right?
Hobby phone, hobby email, hobby social account (with almost nothing in it).

And how many folks have a good cover story id that also contains similar stuff but is still not your real world stuff? Think about that.

Personally, I don't mind it. It sucks that pimps, leo and fake accounts can so easily create a social media BUT it also helps us that have a rather large following. Feel it puts a gent at ease.
