It's refreshing to see that this went over much better than the thread in Houston. I'll reiterate here that this forum sounds like a much-needed concept.

The original intent of this thread is great, but there few assholes that has taken it to a negative level.

Nope. Been in situations where both sides could've used some ummm, freshening up. An Asian or two, as well. Latina, yep.

Pussy stank is universal. Dick and balls funk too, I imagine.

What's MOST annoying about race issues is there being an audience pretending/denying that there aren't any race issues.

But this proposal to create a private forum isn't intended to fix race issues. Not even in a small local way.

The proposal is intended to improve marketing opportunities for Black providers. There is nothing wrong with that. But there is also no need to dress it up as having some kind of higher purpose.

I don't think it's pretending so much as they just don't get exposed to them so they don't realize. I think the two biggest are our schools - which ought to make every American of every race angry, and the prison sentencing system for drugs. Both contribute to joblessness... and in effect doom people to poverty for life. And of the two, I think it's the school system that is the issue. lack of education leads kids into drugs to escape reality..which ends up in prison and it's like a Charles Dickens novel with no happy ending even possible. Most middle class and up whites are never exposed to these travesties so they just don't get it. But once you see (esp. the schools) it's sickening. Seriously there should be people swinging from lamp poles for the things that are deemed acceptable in schools now.

It will be the ruin of this Country....

You seem so certain AA hobbyists are not going to benefit from this forum.. Why is that?

Oh, I hear ya.

Let one one upper middle class family or anyone that's NEVER experienced any form of poverty spend ONE WEEK in the ghetto. They'd come out crying.

Our society keeps coming up with more ways to make people poorer and poorer, all while the top keeps chasing record profits. Where are they going with all those profits?? What's the end game?

Yeah. There's a group that doesn't get it, and they don't get it that they don't get it. They're born well off, live their whole lives without the stress of hunger, cold, whether or not their electricity might get turned off. They grow up thinking poor people are just lazy, when our devolving society is the biggest hurdle. Poverty is third world country stuff...in our OWN COUNTRY.

Getting way off topic here, but yeah, I hear ya.

I didn't say that. Good marketing can benefit both seller and buyer. I'm just pointing out that this isn't being driven by some wish to improve race relations. It's a commercial motive, and that's fine, so there is no need to discuss it on some elevated level.

Looking back, I don't see where it was stated that the main motivation wasn't for Black companions to connect with clients who want to book them AND for companions of all races to connect with Black clients.

Whether or not this idea comes to fruition, it's not really that complicated to grasp. Unless one is intent on holding onto deluded feels about the pervasiveness of "No AA" culture here on ECCIE and other similar venues.

Adrienne proposed a possible life, or rather hobby hack to circumvent users on this site who are disinterested in being intimate with Black people. Whenever I come across a coed or ISO thread where users are spewing "NO AA"(or my favorite: "white, Latina, and Asian only") rhetoric for the umpteenth time, I keep it pushing.

I'm just dead because if any Black heaux were to troll a "No AA" ISO post as much as some of y'all are trolling these posts (especially the one on Houston coed), some would literally be up in arms.

great point..

by the way, the few times I tap into the Houston Board and read their threads, I come away feeling like a Vampire has sucked some life out of me.. I don't know how those people stand each other.

I think it's a great idea. I'm all for it.
Why do people care so much with something that has nothing to do with them in the first place? It is such a simple concept. If you are aa, looking for aa or aa friendly, you go in the private forum. If you are not, you have the whooooole entire eccie for you to explore. That's it. Bam.

Second that.

I'm not going to read through 7 pages of this post because I'm sure I can guess whats already been said. I think its a good idea, if it doesn't work at least it was attempted.

Right with you Gabi......
We all might like different things, but I like different things at different times...
This forum would also allow me to see who could be a new friend to play with...
Adrienne, count me in to help fund when this gets up and running
Y'all be well !!!
