Default Obama's legacy: Initiating a civil war in Syris

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_Civil_War

http://www.cnn.com/2013/08/27/world/...cts/index.html

Obama, at Hillary's behest, initiated a civil war in Syria. Syria has been in conflict for decades, and had an efficient, stalinistic, program for controlling the political thought, activity, and economics through the use of torture, surveillence, and abject violence. Syria was the likely disposition for the chemical weapons produced by Hussein. Syrian fighters were a substantial portion of the effective regime defenders when Baghdad fell during the Iraqi war.

Hillary decided that it would be a good idea to start a conflagration in Syria. President Obama concurred. Obviously, there was no plan for forming a governing entity in Syria, post civil war.

The effect of this effort includes the following:

1) The invasion of Europe by millions of Middle Eastern and African economic refugees.

2) The formation of the ISIS caliphate.

3) The genocide of several ethnic and religious minorities in Syria and Iraq.

4) The utter destruction of most of Syria, and many of its citizens.

5) The renewed reverance in the Middle East of Russia.

I don't see any upside to this "adventure", and most of the results were forseeable. It is likely that "upside" looked for was "burnishing Hillary's status". This war won't end. Assad understands that, if he loses power, he, and his whole family, will end up dead.

What part is made up? I am not looking for anyone's support. I just want to document Obama's legacy, as I have heard that it "is being destroyed", and I want to know what is being destroyed. It is difficult to have conversations with fascist thugs unless there is a basis.

Without a basis, it is just a bunch of idiotic insults being thrown back and forth. My opinion is that your side of the political argument is utterly disgusting, and I'd like to expose it a bit.

Obama's biggest mistake in Syria was thinking Russia would assist him , just like Trump is now.

the interesting thing about very stupid people such as yourself is that you can't possibly realize that you're very stupid...you'd have to be relatively intelligent to realize how stupid you are.

What is stupid? What is a lie?

Fascist thugs insult instead of rebut.

Are you saying the Syrian experience is not part of Obama's legacy?

If you think the Arab Spring is the fault of Obama....well we disagree. You seem to think either Clinton or Obama could have prevented the inevitable.

The Syrian civil war was not part of the "Arab Spring".

Without Obama's support, the rebels would never have gotten traction. We spent about 1 billion$/year arming them since 2012.

I am not saying we should not have done it. I am saying Obama owns it.

If we had armed the Egyptian rebels at the same level, there would be a civil war there, as well. There isn't because the socialist, fascist elements of the Egyptian government took back power by force. My plan was to discuss that topic next, to provide contrasts in the decisions Obama made.

The "Arab Spring" was clearly Bush's legacy, and was a consequence of the war in Iraq. The consequences of the "Arab Spring" sequence of events are not yet accountable.

The civil wars in the middle east that are currently ongoing are a consequence of the US participating in the Arab Spring. Where we didn't meddle, the events were quickly settled.

If the Obama administration had not armed the "rebels", the Syrian civil war would be settled. The fact that it is being used to excuse the invasion of Europe by millions of economic immigrants every year is a consequence of Obama's policy.

If Regaan would not have armed the Bloods and Crips the Gang violence would have been settled by now. I know Thats BS, just like your "opinion". As Kip Dynamite once said, " Like anyone could really know that"

You look at the Middle East pre George W and look at it now.

Are you saying that Obama didn't arm the Syrian rebels to the tune of 1 billion$/year?

Or are you saying that Reagan did arm leftwing fascist thugs(democrats) in inner city communities to foster violence?

One or the other is true. If one isn't, your statement is unreasonable.
