Speak on it Skny Diva! It's not a dead horse at all. When I first became a companion, there were very specific procedures that I made use of to screen a gent who inquired with me. All along, I knew making use of the reference system had it's flaws. But for the most part, I'd experienced amicable and helpful responses from other providers who gents offered to verify them. And in almost three years, I have never not once ignored a fellow provider who reached out to me seeking verification about a client.

Within the past several months, I've encountered many walls which have me totally reevaluating how I engage in screening especially when it comes to accepting references. And thinking about making changes regarding screening has me thinking about everything else because physical and emotional safety is my foremost concern.

I'll say one more thing: the two-reference system is very popular and because of this, it is the default/preferred way for many gents when they decide how they want to be screened with a companion they have never seen before. Due to this, it is immensely frustrating when I do the ethical thing (respond every single time to any provider who seeks a reference from me), yet I am met with waywardness in the form of reference withholding motivated by jealousy time after time. It has come up for me a couple times here in New Orleans. But it's much more noticeable when I tour. Screening mishaps partially motivated me to cancel my tour to Kansas City. And even though I still ended up having a wonderful visit to Houston last Winter, there was one particular gent who offered several (5+) references who refused to respond to me.

Ohhhh and gentlemen unless you stood out or we stay in contact. If its been 6 months since I have seen you i won't remember you. So using me for a reference is usesless. I delete all information when I am done. Except email address .

I get the 2 reference requirement. However, for the sake of discussion, At what point would you consider a hobbyist history on this board as being sufficient. It would seem to me that a simple inquiry in the "Powder Room," a quick look at the ladies that he has visited, a search of his number on the black list sites, etc. would go a long way towards verifying someone. I will never give out any personal info. Truth be told, I hate having to ask a provider if she is willing to give me a reference so that I can see someone else.

ALL of this. Plus, a p411 check. I'll never get upset with a provider for screening though. Do what you feel you have to do to stay safe.

With your review history and board history, I can't imagine a lady needing anymore info from you darling. But you have very reputable ladies to vouch for you.

As much as I appreciate the 2 reference system, it does have some serious flaws. Hypothetically, if a gentleman were to visit two newbie friendly providers who merely speak to their prospective gentleman callers on the phone to get a "feel" for them before an appointment, then do you really have someone who has been screened? Not in my book. So if the ladies out there aren't doing employment screening of newbies, then ANYONE looking for an in to our community has a rather easy one.

Not all references are created equal. While I always reply to every reference request, I do not accept all references. If I don't know a lady or I have knowledge that a ladies' screening methodology is lacking, then I request additional references or employment screening.

I go out of my way to make sure that the references that I verify are solid and reputable, so that both the ladies and the gents can count on me to do my part in keeping them safe.

Seems as though there has been some issues with the ladies sharing info on the gents. If that's the case, then it's counter productive. I fondly recall seeing Ms. April Cox back in 2014 when I didn't have much history on the board. We had a great time. So much so that upon leaving, April stated that she was going to tell her friends about me and post a positive statement about me in the powder room. She did and a few of her friends reached out to me and we met as a result of April spreading the word about this super cool, nice, intelligent, nice looking mature but young looking black guy. Since then, I've been like a kid in the candy store. If more ladies would do this, then maybe, just maybe it would make life a little easier and a lot more profitable.

This may not be an apple to apple comparison, but consider this...when guys have a great experience with a lady, we share that info with the other guys through reviews and post in our private men's room so that other guys would know that the lady in question is good to go. If I needed a clarification on a particular provider, I would PM a fellow hobbyist and get the answers I needed. For the record, I have always gotten an honest reply. And also let the record reflect that nearly every woman that I've seen has been the result of her having positive reviews and/or recommendations from a trust worthy source.

So the moral of the story from my perspective is that to share info is a win-win for everyone.

Do you get a lot of guys work place number a lot? I'm just curious. Most of them don't want us to know their first name. But they willingly give YOU employment verification. Okay....

I agree, if it is an established gentleman, I will verify his info on here or even better P411 but also if it's been more than 6 months.......

How do you guys feel about a provider asking where you work at and calling your job. If my employer admitted to any one over the phone i work there that has to be a law broken. Either way i would be pissed. Lots of crazy people in the world.

Yes a backpage girl with no internet or board presence is not acceptable in my book.
And yes, any reputable lady will give references, always.

I've had ocurrances in the past and I'm sure I will in the future of that one provider who will email or call the gentleman and ask, why are you seeing her? Why not come see me again?
