Not possible. You're either a shade authoritarian or a shade libertarian, or you're a dead-on centerist ... but on that chart you cannot be an "authoritarian/libertarian". The Nolan Chart shows me as a slightly right of center libertarian.

The left-wing/right-wing matrix doesn't work well for describing Hitler, whereas the authoritarian/libertarian matrix does. Per the Political Compass site:

The problem with these "charts" are they leave out governing by common sense, or perhaps doing the unthinkable and actually changing your position because events and circumstances dictate a different policy.

Throughout our Country's History, many of our Leaders have been forced to modify their policies in order answer circumstances of the moment.

the dot placed me on along the authoritarian/libertarian line, but is very close to the center point in the right quadrant.

which is why I said I was center-right; light weight conservative.
