My 2 cents.... I absolutely love the mature ladies! It just seems as if they would rather have a 30-40 year old rather than a mature gentleman as I at the age of 60.

Not true that ALL of us mature ladies would rather see the young guys! Age is not an issue or question. Torre, from personal experience I can attest you're really good at this. I can see you continuing on with the hobby for quite some time. You have the body of a much younger woman, and are a fantastic host.

But not everyone can be you. It's the sad reality that most women can't stay at this forever. The OP has already stated that she's done. She asked for the opinions of everyone here, including the men.

You may not want to go back to the corporate world, but at least you know you have that option should you decide. Younger women who still have the chance to do something else need to take heed and prepare for that future.

I'm willing to bet there are a hell of a lot more 55 year-old former providers than there are active ones. There's a reason for that, and ladies need to prepare for the inevitable instead of hoping they're going to be one of the exceptions.

OK I am one of the "old hookers" who have survived quite nicely here.....I am really 54 although my showcase says 53....I do really well in most tour cities I visit.....and I have a nice comfortable RW living..I have fun and I make a nice comforttable living.I keep my bills low and pay cash for everything.I have been in the RW work scene for half my life...when I chose to do this FULLTIME at age 40,I found out that a good business on here is run just like a good business in the RW.....I am very creative with my persona in the hobby world and try to keep things "fresh & exciting"...And the best part is that I get to tavel and incorporate RW adventures in with my hobby touriing,I get to shop for what I want and not have to worry about food,stylish clothing or necessities or even a few luxeries I treat myself to.I have a nice house and nice "paid for" cars {2}...I don't try to live above my means and blow money on unnecessary things.....I try to take care of myself and put forth good appearances......I meet interesting gents and have quite a list of regulars from all over the U.S.{some I have known over 10 years}....I even get to play with young pups once in awhile{today I had a 26 yr old and a 35 year old last week...and tomorrow I have a 23 yr old}........I basically work part-time and make a nice chunk of dough....as for retirement,who the hell wants to retire when I am in this spot... My retirement plan is death!!LOL

Uuuuhh ... from what I've seen at Walmart ... not many could take on this business (or as you say, "sling pussy").
And I say that for many reasons.
It takes smarts, guts and believe it or not self pride to be in this business AND keep your head together. I'm speaking of us independents of course.
As much as I respect a hard working woman and do not mean to criticize them in any way ... Walmart, McDonalds, Dollar General ... whatever, I'm sure many are glad they chose this profession instead of working behind the counter.

Additionally, coming to the board with personal issues chases away most of the very best guys, and each time a lady comes on with any sort of drama or personal issues she is shooting herself in the foot.

Most of my best clients visit to get away from drama and poor-me talk because they get enough of it at home, and they absolutely run from any provider with a propensity for it. Additionally, I have found many clients that flock to damsels in distress are a bit clingy, flaky, or otherwise undesirable in some way so it is a double whammie attracting less desirable clients while chasing more sought after ones away.

Be the change you want to see in your world. Reinvent yourself, redo your menu and pricing, get a legit part time or full time job. MOVE to a city that has a drought of mature providers. You can make this work for yourself if you take charge of your situation.

Budget. Budget. BUDGET. Pencil and paper is your best friend.

Drop the pride at the door. Get that mickey dee's job if it fucking pays for an apartment.

As you age, RW or Hooker life, you develop a LOT of skills. Figure out how to communicate them into "real world" skills and throw that shit on a resume.

There are a TON of programs out there to help women transition from "bad situations" like homelessness, drug addiction, abusive spouse, high school drop out etc. They can help you get on the right path with education and employment. Some will even help with temporary funds or housing. You use the internet for hooking, use it for research too when your twat isn't on duty.

If you can't supports yourself in DFW, then you need to ask some of the veteran ladies what the hell you are doing wrong. There is PLENTY of money to go around. Perhaps some business advice is what you need.
