Default Secret Service Agent Says......."I would rather take jail time than a bullet for President Trump.....

https://www.aol.com/article/news/201...llet/21662380/

The general consensus has always been that a Secret Service Agent had to be willing to protect their Charge at all cost, including "taking a bullet", so to speak.

Now we have a Agent who, because of her Liberal/Socialist/ Progressive/Democrat beliefs, has her doubts if she could step between President Trump and an Assasination Attempt.

As a US Citizen, this Woman is intiltled to her personal beliefs. She can vote for whom ever she pleases.

But as a Secret Service Agent, she is sworn to perform certain duties. If her beliefs cannot let her do this, then she should not be in that occupation.

A lot of commenters in this link said she was foolish for ever saying this on a public format. I disagree. It is to the benefit of all that she be exposed before the consequences of her actions caused a tragedy.

Typical libtard. Got her a government job and now does not want to do the work.

The link is getting a lot of "hits," but I didn't get from what I could read that this agent was working the POTUS detail or ever had.

Just for general information the SS handles matters and investigations other than protecting the President and his/her family.

As a practical matter firing her may be a problem, although depending upon what she's doing a "re-assignment" might be appropriate ... to a desk examining fingerprints on counterfeit bills....for instance.

What's remarkably stupid is she would refuse to respond "appropriately" depending upon someone's political beliefs .... if a fellow Agent is a known Trump supporter then she apparently would not go to their assistance and aid if they were "in trouble"!

She not only doesn't belong in the Service, she doesn't belong in LE at all. She discriminates based on the "protected" classes of persons.

Me?

If you're referring to the Agent ... it ain't that easy.

There is a "process" and is often called "due process"!

Great points; all. Get this "lady" out of the field and into the most mundane, useless job with the agency; whatever that might be. Keep her out of harm's way; if you catch my drift. She'll eventually get the message that she's totally worthless and quit on her own.

I almost hate to admit this but, I would take a bullet for Hillary if she had won and I can't stand that woman.
For a SS agent to feel this way (much less say it in public) is disgraceful.
She made the statement in October. She should have been fired shortly after.

The article says she removed the rant from her "web page," so a supervisor must have "approached" her about it .... but that does not "remove" the "image" she has created among the other Agents in the Service who won't want her on their detail. As for her self-assessment ... if she doesn't know she's "worthless" by now another 10-15 years won't do the job!

A desk in a secure location without a weapon is a good spot.

Termination is not that simple. She can be placed on "administrative leave" until "due process" is complete, but if there are "other circumstances" that make the termination decision "problematic" (like she's fucking her supervisor etc) then an alternate resolution would resolve "the issue" ... and keep her "under wraps" until she retires. A disgruntled agent could hurt the Service ... as it has in the past. ... she just needs to be neutralized and in a position to do no harm.

He has a point. I wouldn't take a bullet for anyone either. You would have to be an idiot to do that. Nobody is that dam important.

Send her, unaccompanied, to the farthest areas of northern Alaska to " investigate " counterfeiting. And investigate her actions and statements to see if it doesn't violate any Secret Service / Treasury Department standards on personal behavior and responsibility. If a similar comment had been made by an agent towards BOOrock Insane odummer or shrilLIARy, you can bet that the lyin libs in Congress and the media would be demanding that the agent be immediately fired AND drawn and quartered.

The first "guy" off the "boat" takes 'em for those behind him, and that's why you aren't an agent or working in personal protection.

It's not being disrespectful to you at all. Unless one has the mindset in which the risks are acceptable, then one ought not to venture into those situations in which that result can be an option. I doubt seriously when they wake up in the morning they dwell on the subject, but it's a reality and my guess is they all look forward to coming "home" (wherever that may be "today") with a clean suit without any holes in it. But in the scheme of things the POTUS is more important than the agent.
