Noel Neill, the first actress to portray “Superman” heroine Lois Lane onscreen, died Sunday at her home in Tucson, according to the Associated Press. She was 95.
She just wasn't very good looking. And I hated her Nash Rambler convertible. Here's the Lois Lane from the first season, much better looking.
But but but Celso says: Noel Neill, the first actress to portray “Superman” heroine Lois Lane onscreen,
And he's NEVER wrong.... just ask him.....
A quick google search shows Jok got it right:
Phyllis Coates played Lois Lane in the first season, with Noel Neill stepping into the role in the second season (1953).

Yes, younguns, before there was that ancient device called the TV there was an even earlier 'screen', the 'big screen', aka movies, cinema, etc. Noel Neill portrayed Lois Lane in Kirk Alyn's Superman in 1948 and 1950. And that would be 'onscreen' just not made for TV. See http://www.ibtimes.com/actresses-who...-photos-551481
