What is your favorite part of being a provider ?

wow there are some jaded people here, but I guess that is to be expected. A few unasked for personal observations:

1) assuming most of the providers here suffered early sexual trama? So does that make you a repeat rapist/abuser? Dude, get over yourself. Some women love sex. Some love it more than most men, some less. We all know where the average is. But still. Further, what about us men? Are we all equally damaged? Fact is, most of us here have a different view of morality than "many" - or we justify what "we" do while looking sidewise at the rest. If I was a lady - could I do what these ladies do? I doubt I could, but I don't think less of them for it. They are who they are. Putting this out - in response to this thread - is hurtful to those who have been traumatized and insulting and many other things... but I'll leave it there.

2) Yes. This is a business and we are customers. So what, that means that the providers can't have satisfaction in a job well done? The ONLY thing they get out of it is money? Well, lets all ask ourselves a question. WHY DO YOU WORK? Heck, if I wasn't paid, you can sure bet your ass I wouldn't be here all day every day doing this crap. So I guess that means I hold my clients in disdain, I can't barely stand them, I shouldn't talk to them outside of work and I care ONLY about the money? Really - if that is how you see you job GO FIND ANOTHER JOB! No one should be that miserable. Some of us are stuck in jobs we don't like. We have bills/needs/wants and so we work. But really - I work in a job where I literally sell my time for money. Yet, I have clients I was friends with before they hired me - and we are still friends! I have some clients - that after our time ends - we hunt/fish or chat. I've become friends w/ them. Yet, when they hire me, they pay me again. And, if they are a fishing guide - I pay them!

Really, given what we all do - I thought we'd have a bit more understanding and acceptance.

Then again, I'm old enough to know better now.

I guess the only surprise is that ignorance and shallow mindedness still surprise me.

I was born into a family of 8 kids..we were dirt poor and worked a big farm with crops & the animals used for food....we were a good christian family/not perfect/but well loved & cared for!
