How many points?
How many points does it take to get "BANNED" ?
Also, is there a set amount of points that are given for certain infractions or do the individual Mods just give an "offender" however many points he feels like giving?
Just curious. I got a 5 point infraction a while back and a 10 point one recently for a bullshit reason.. Actually BOTH were bullshit, but I guess it depends on the city you post in.

25 points and the system automatically bans you. Points are predetermined by admin and are set. Different number of points based on the offense but the same number of points are given to everybody for the same offense. You don't need 25 points to get banned though. You can get banned for a number of reasons, generally at the discretion of the mods but usually the length of time and decision to ban is discussed at some point with other mods/admin.

Yes , different violations have different point values and most automatically cycle off in 6 months.
