If you would have opened the link, you would have seen there was 8 years of data. You're right this poll has limited value. But it's not a one time event. It is a single data point.
A single data point on a graph that shows their favorability rating has been going down for some time now. This single data point continues the trend. The OP title is correct and has been for years.
