Regardless, you're missing the point. Do indies operate on a different time frame? Yes. Do they need time to get ready and screen? Yes. Are they different than spas / agencies? Yes. None of that changes the fact that a SNATCH thread could work if the rules are followed. All the SNATCH thread is Girl A saying, my schedule is actually open today / this afternoon / after 5. The provider can then screen, schedule, and get ready just as they always do. None of that changes. It's simply just a way of a provider advertising that they are available that day in particular. Are they, in theory, on call every day? Sure. But, we all know that you inquire and then they might not be available that day for whatever reason.

Edit: the SNATCH thread doesn't just create a drive in environment like spas / agencies, it just aids in advertising and matching time-specific availability. It's a scheduling tool.

It's just another tool to ease in the hobby.

You seem intent in hating on it though, so carry on.

History repeats itself,,,The new SNATCH will be another failure,,,It's obvious that a selection of whores are not going to follow the rules,,,The mods know that it's a mitch of thing to manage,,,Most Johns don't even care if it's reinstated because they are doing fine without it. Why make eccie more layered and redundant than it should be by including SNATCH?

My schedule is posted and is the same every week. Frequently, I am fully booked in advance of the current day. I utilize San Antonio's SNATCH when I am not or when I have a cancellation or NCNS. (Believe it or not, they happen more often than the guys seem to think.) 99% of the time, when I post in SNATCH, I get immediate calls from regulars that just happened to see the post and don't need to wait on screening. Or a well established p411 member will PM where the screening is rather quick.

In a little over a year, the San Antonio SNATCH has 2,011,048 views. Buy far the most of any thread posted. For a site that makes money through advertising (based on total page views), it seems like a no-brainer.

Still, I would not want to be the one to patrol for violations.

Without knowing what was originally typed to supposedly violate the rules, those examples do little good, DED. I argued at the time, and still do, that my post in question never violated anything, so I took offense then and do now at being used to shore up the case for closing a thread that I started and wouldn't have muddied. It was squashed because it was troublesome, reason enough.

Yes, some ladies couldn't get it straight and deserve their spankings, but in defense of others, "simple instructions" were altered and not by me, and I watched a project that began with good intentions go south as both rules and posts were subjected to extensive and nebulous change and misinterpretation; too many cooks were simmering the soup with different reads on the recipe. Holy heck, what utter harm did it do for a provider to state that she had a cancellation from this time to that, or that she was available due to a last-minute schedule change after a certain time so a fellow would know what he had to work with? (That was my "alleged" violation, just saying my appointment had bailed that afternoon and I was free AFTER 5 p.m. A time period or "range" of time, which was disallowed by mods well after the thread began and for no reason I ever understood, has a finite beginning AND an end!)

The Houston Incall Provider Short Notice Cancellation Thread was a convenience for the gents and a nice perk for ladies who lost money due to appointment drops, but powers that be began to feel that it was being used as an additional advertising forum by providers who already had 2 weekly venues, so 'nuff said.

Let us agree that the thread won't be repeated as nobody wants the throbbing headache, which I get every time this topic is brought up.

I didn't say that, sweet thang. I was inferring that there was a lot of murkiness and disagreement, nor was shutting it down necessarily a negative if it was taking too much time and effort out of a beleaguered staff. While no doubt some providers were using it wrongly, definitely not all were, and it was appreciated by many fellows. I just want it made plain that there were multiple hurdles involved as to why it went bye. Wasn't a one-horse race to the finish, and it really is useless beating a dead horse hoping it will get up again.

I will NEVER stop defending who or what I feel is being wrongly disparaged, or trying to bring clarity to a misunderstood issue. There are always going to be headaches on ECCIE for somebody, especially you mods, and that I truly sympathize with. Would you like a free side of Advil with your fried forums, sir? (Personally, I think a nice cocktail works wonders!)
