Shipley's makes good kolaches, nowhere near as good as the Kolache Factory. But I don't think Shipley's makes the Chocolate Raspberry filled though. It's sad really.

Plus 2 on the kolache factory. Krispy Kreme is ok , I just don't know why every one is treating them like gold. We had several of hem years ago and they got no business. One was converted to a Burger King at the corner of fountain view and Richmond.

Anyone else see the irony of a thread with this title turning into a discussion about donuts...
Krispy Kreme almost went out of business due to their business model not business volume. They were basically using extortion on their own franchise owners.

Perhaps the discussion of ones size was found distasteful to many, since none of us are perfect. Whereas donuts are yummy and delicious.
And I mentioned it was sad that Shipley's didn't have the menu array that Krispy's had, which seems to lack imagination, IMO.

my 4 to 5 hundred / night overnights with single mom coeds have 3 nuts in the night and 1 in the morning.
Well...plus however many nuts for her.
Edit: 500 being too much but I try to be generous.
