I am leaving eccie. I want to thank all of the wonderful people whom made the boards interesting and thoughtful. I also want to thank the admins and mods for being nothing but professional and thoughtful with me personally.

This makes me so sad. ECCIE is about to lose a gem of a lady - heavy emphasis on lady.

I have always had the deepest respect for you Jaycee. I admire your mind and your intellect, and always enjoy reading your thoughts on whatever topic is being discussed. You can always be counted on to be a voice of reason and common sense, when others are getting their exercise through knee jerks and jumping to conclusions. (LOL yours truly often included)

This is something that JayCee and I have long discussed. I've had the same discussion with other intelligent, fun women on the board as well, many who have silently departed.

At what point does something stop being worth your positive energy? Why participate on a board where you are criticized, abused and bashed no matter what you say? To be honest, I rarely even advertise on here because when I do, my inbox, phone and website blow up with messages from LE. This is the new BP. This is not a screening it verification site and don't ever let anyone tell you differently.

This was not always the case. In the days of Headmaster (RIP) VKMaster (RIP) EF girls, if you know who they were, you miss them, Fastcar, Malwoody, Scorpio31, big deal, catnip dipper, Bobbyupside...and last but not least Jazz. This was a fun community. Somewhere to relax and have fun with those of mutual interest on your coffee break to break up the monotomy of your day.

Today it is a combo of the oldtimers constantly defending the ladies against women hating pricks and the women hating pricks who spew their anger onto escorts which makes for a very dicey situation.

You, newcomers are what has drawn attention to this board. You and the management of the downtrodden, far from independent women. I have heard and seen enough on this board since the 1st of the year to realize that I no longer belong here.

I'm not one to burn bridges and I am not saying" I retiring and will never return." I'm not retiring at all actually, just removing the time I give to this board from my schedule.

I am announcing that if you want to read up on me, get in touch with me, etc. This is not the place to do it. I am considering podcasts, blogs etc, which you will find announced on my site, not here.

I will not be removing my showcase and reviews, however I will no longer be an active participant of the community. I cannot name individuals as there are too many that I adore, but please stay in touch...and know that I am still here.

Jaycee was so much nicer, as usual. I felt it important to make clear what a low class site ECCIE is in the hobby world and to warn my friends against what is inevitably going to happen. Many of the mods have been my friends. Thank you for your support and I wish you all the best. I hope that we will remain in touch as well!

I'm with you Ari but don't include ALL the "new"guys for the problems here. Even though I just returned to the hobby a few months ago, I was active in the late 90's and early 2k's. Although the old ASPD had it's occasional trolls I don't ever recall anything like what has taken place here in the recent months. This should be fun and there are a few that are ruining it for everyone.....it's sad to see the fine women disappearing
