Should those we trust moderate these forums step up and achnowledge when they are wrong?

MODs are not infallible....

Some make an occasional mistake.....

Some make a lot.......

And some have a rep for playing for the wrong team......

Would you give more respect to a MOD that "manned up" and acknowledged his mistakes and apologized to a member wronged by his actions?

It affects all of us that post here...... It affects reviews as well as participation and often MODs that are too heavy handed can stifle participation.

Especially when rendering decisions like a provider running an 8 month long ad in CoEd is allowable but a guy drawing out attention to a competing provider is SPAM?

Seems like control, favoritism and censorship to me.

Or to lighthanded and close threads, perhaps cause that was easier, instead of handing out candy points. Which was how this fun started back in December.

The flip side of that Shayla is that perhaps the MODs in this section are doing some things on their own that are outside the guidelines and noone is aware enough to call them on it.

The board has one set of guidelines and members should be able to post in any forum in any city and not run afoul of personal prejudices and ignorance of staff as to how those guidelines are meant to be enforced.

I guess my problem with this whole thing is who gives a shit if it's an ad or not? it's in Co-Ed if whose purpose if i'm right is to give clients and providers a space to talk shop or discuss other hobby related things. If you don't like Jessica or any other provider just ignore the thread it isn't that hard.

Seems like this "protest" is basically just a bunch of mean spirited bullshit to me. But that's just my 2 cents.
