Default What does "I'm not a clock watcher" really mean?

I frequently see "I'm not a clock watcher" in provider ads. Ladies, what do you mean? Gents, What do you take it to mean?

Are you inviting exceeding paid time by some amount? If so, by how much? Or does it mean that conversation before and pillow talk after doesn't count as paid time? Or are they just words which sound nice, but aren't really true?

Personally I try to be heading out the door on time or no later than 5 minutes over.

It is truly lovely if my partner says "Hold on, there's no hurry, Or words to that effect, as has happened on occasion. It's equally lovely if my partner accepts an offer to join me for a meal off the clock, as I occasionally offer and she occasionally accepts. But I don't expect either of those.

Just curious why ladies say that, and what, If anything, they really mean.

the only time i've truly seen a girl not be a clock watcher was one provider had all the clocks unplugged in her room.

Which was kinda of cool, but both of us were exhausted, and passing out in the bed. I just got back from overseas.

I really should have stayed home and gone to sleep.

I don;t think it's necessarily inviting you to step over the line when they advertise it, but I would still watch the clock.

just approx.s

90% = advertising GIMMICK
10% = don't set an alarm to the exact second (probably don't have some kind of pimp either) or might not count some chit-chat/getting to know each other convo against their time for their rate (edit: reads better?)
error margin probably +/- 3-5%

I'm not a clock watcher because I don't have to be and don't wish to be. I'm at the point of my Fancy "career" where I usually only see one person a day, and not every day. On an extremely RARE occasion I might visit with someone at my place in the afternoon, then go out with a gentlemen in the eve.

To me, not watching the clock means a provider isn't expecting another guest immediately afterward, things proceed at a natural, unforced pace with a period of getting to know each other before tumbling into the sheets, she can allow herself to enjoy the interaction, and perhaps let a 1-hour to 90-minute session go over 15-30 minutes without being upset or expecting additional compensation. That's the way that I build my appointments, anyway. I enjoy the multi-hour dates and "packages" that I offer, as I can forget the necessity of keeping track and relax more completely.

That doesn't mean I'm inviting gentlemen to take advantage of my pliable nature, however. All good things must come to their inevitable explosive end.

Providers who have an alarm clock ring 10-15 minutes before session is up like a spa mama-san are clock watchers

Providers who don't nickel and dime you mind if you go a little over and even let's you take a quick shower after session are keepers

I never count "shower time" before or after. I am grateful when gents want to be lickably clean and fresh, and invite them to revisit the bath before they depart, too, if they so desire. (Most, if not on the way somewhere public following our playdate, get a kick out of leaving "dirty" with my scent on them. )

Guys who expect providers to ignore the clock, so they can squeeze some extra "value" out of their hobby budget, are being extremely disrespectful. I think a reasonable answer from a provider would be "I won't watch the clock if you don't watch your wallet".

That doesn't mean providers need to be mercenary about it. I think +/- 10 minutes is the limit of a provider's grace period, beyond that it should be tipped generously unless she invites you to stick around off the clock. And even then the offer should be met with a reward -- something non-monetary is appropriate for a provider who allows some off-the-clock socializing. But if it's just a longer BCD session -- compensate with cash.

My experience is that if I tip well, second and third sessions get both qualitatively and quantitatively better. Karma guys. With the better providers, being a gentleman and being generous pays off bigtime.

My sand clock doesn't make any noise. You probably never noticed It but It was there
and It begins once you are out of the shower.
It's hourly. 60 minutes. When I see all the sand at the bottom
I know It's been an hour.

No matter what a person thinks "I'm not a clock watcher" means In this business an hour Is just that an hour!!!!

I love that! But you did just admit to being a glass watcher. When the hour is up, five to ten minutes is enough to shower and/or get dressed. Beyond that, he is stalling.

To me, clock watching is two-fold. Just that. Watching the clock and counting down out loud. And two, putting a timer. No watching. Just listening to the alarm bell.

The latter I wouldn't mind so much. Kind of like an invisible clock. Just like coach would say, "you keep playing until the whistle."

It Is what It Is!
It's the same thing as me putting on a 60 minute R&B CD.
I know which CD I have that plays for 60mins. When the music stops
I know Its been an hour. So even If I'm not watching I'm listening.

An hour Is just that an hour!!!!

....Don't make me have to kindly say "hun could you get the door and let my next appt In"

I always understood it to mean not overly focused on getting the guy out the door as soon as possible. It could also mean the provider is more likely to be enjoying herself and not mentally calculating when the session will end

to me if a provider doesnt count shower time and isnt rushing me out the door then I am happy. I try and be respectful and not go over if I can and sometimes I have left with time left and not realized it. I am also older and dont try and stretch it to have more activities but I like to be able to shower and talk and relax without worrying about being rushed.

I have found that sometimes I connect with a provider and have had some where we would go to eat or even a movie and I was a regular of theirs for a while but that is incredibly rare and I cant find that again even though I want to the great white buffalo

to me if they say they dont watch the clock that means to me that I am not rushed out the door and maybe spend a little extra time talking and going over that way and not being able to go another round etc.
