Some advice
So I noticed that I will be coming during the Royals playoffs so of course all the hotels are ungodly expensive. I'm trying to decide whether to wait until Wednesday to come cuz they're about 30 to $50 cheaper. Priceline on the extended deals there are two different airports for Kansas City Missouri.
Is the airport either them okay to stay at they seem to be cheaper there than in the plaza area can anybody give me any other areas that would be ok and safe to stay in and not just the plaza area.
Smooches, slurp, hmmmmmmm.

Ok please give me a break I'm a girl and really the only thing I follow is football and MMA / UFC. Somebody told me that the reason why the hotels were that expensive is because something with the games were going on. Lol don't make me feel too slow, I do that to myself enough lol

Run your price checks again. Some hotels had cancels cause the baseball games were over last night. But there are three medium sized conventions in town this week and that's what's really driving hotel prices next several days.
Yes, there are two different airports, you might consider places by "MCI".
The downtown airport is called Wheeler or "MKC" and there's no hotels actually there. Any hotels referenced for that would actually be "downtown" or "North Kansas City".

How about the sports complex that looks like it's kind of close to where the plaza is or at least not too far from it.. I'm never stayed anywhere else except the plaza area so I don't really know where else to go that is safe and okay to be at. If somebody would take a look at Priceline and look at their extended deals maybe they will understand what I mean by the areas. I know I've been told not to stay on the Kansas City side Kansas. I've been told to stay away from the independence area. I'm trying to look for areas somewhere close to the plaza area or at least in the middle of the area to where im close to everybody

"Middle" would be Plaza, or Downtown, or Crown Center.
Crown Center is the primary host of one of the conventions this week (which will also impact Plaza)
Later this week is the Big 12 Gals Soccer championships. Over 2,000 folks will fill the hotels mid and south. The teams are all in decent priced places. Parents are scrounging everywhere. Some parents are already showing up on plaza.
If downtown, or stadiums, there's things to think about. If you wish, take this to PM.

Seems like every single woman in KC is a fucking Royals fanatic. It's gotten to the point where I'm now attracted to women who _don't_ mention Hosmer or Salvy in their fucking Tinder profile.
So, you go girl! Your lack of baseball knowledge makes you even more attractive now.

I don't know if this will help, but whenever I go out of town, I use bookit.com. Their rates are pretty reasonable and also have the option to use paypal credit if you have or want it. They also have a map so you can see what part of the city the hotel is at that you may be interested in.

Ok so I was told by like 4 people there's a parade going on so I will wait a day to come!! Literally Lol!!! I think I'm going to try a different area just because I would like to get used to different areas instead of just sticking with one and having this problem where I don't know where else to go. Any more advice on any areas would be much more appreciated somebody told me Kansas City Missouri MCI area is good, some have told me the airports okay but I have also heard from guy that that's way out there, and I'm not trying to go to any of the hotels that seem to be in a hot zone right now, I want to make sure that I come and have a good time I want to make sure that I stay safe in the people who see me stay safe. That's important !!!

you will definitely have fewer inquiries at the airport. It is 30-45 minutes from populated areas of KC. Stay away from I-70 and Noland road area, as well as I-435 and 87th street I am sure the local ladies would be much more help on provider friendly or provider neutral hotels

From what I hear, Worlds Of Fun area would not be a good place to stay either.

Mizzou 82, how do you figure the airport area is far from the populus? There is over 300,000 north of the river plus travelers. No different than any other part of town bordering the center and it had the advantage of the airport and decent hotels.

Correct
One place had serious past safety issues, another place avoid just because.
There's a few others, but, airport would be a better choice, even if a bit of a further drive.

cmore has this nailed.
Kansas City is large enough that each area can stand on its own (or avoid).
For Airport, there's over two dozen hotels along 29, and during midweek, full of bored businessmen.
Note that weekends are fairly dead up there, but the room prices are also down.
But, Mizzou's mention of two other areas to avoid is valid.

Just going by my personal experience, posts from guys who say they don't like the drive up there, and post from providers asking where are the guys? when they are up there. Just saying you will have some of that if you stay around the airport. For some guys, it is an hour to 90 minute round trip.
