Copying Showcase Photos
How do I copy a Showcase photo to paste it into a Thread reply? I see others insert these photos, but Right Click to Copy And Paste doesn't work in Showcase.
Thanks

I've had luck changing to the mobile site, just change the www to m in the URL address. Then pics then open in a new page and you can copy the pic's URL and post that with the "[ img] pic URL [ /img]" tag, no spaces.

Yep what HH said works. For whatever reason the developer has right click disabled in the showcase, but it uses JavaScript to do so and is easily bypassed in a variety of ways. Plus depending on the device you're using it may or may not even do anything at all. Pretty pointless except to serve as an irritant to those on a computer.
Personally, when I'm on a computer I use a script that toggles that line of Java code on/off. On the iPAD/iPhone it does nothing anyway even when not using the mobile site.
I'm going to make a suggestion in the mod area to have it removed altogether. Thanks for the reminder.

Got it figured out and it's really easy if you have an I Phone. Open m.eccie.net. Find the photo you want and press it. Hit "Save Image" and Bam, it goes straight to your camera roll. Move it to wherever you want from there. I use Imagecoast. Then delete it from your phone. Make sure you also delete it from the Deleted folder as well.

Speaking of images...
I've noticed some pics in ads are no longer visible. That would makes sense if they used image coast and took them down, but can they take them down if they were attachments?

Yes they can. Each user has a certain amount of attachments they can use. When they use it up they remove them from their cp.

As I found out, if you rename an image on Imagecoast, it goes bye-bye on the original post.
