LOL! Island Gent.... I don't think you are scary nor do you scare the ladies... at least not that I am aware of!
Funny Stuff here....
And sometimes, yes these guys do take it personally, although, they shouldn't. Like someone commented, it's business.
Now if we've scheduled, of course I do feel somewhat obligated to give a valid excuse;
But if we are at the beginning stage of screening, etc.
"Sorry, I don't think we would be a good fit/match." is the Go-to reply for me.

There's a lot of sketchy providers out there. As some of the BP trolls have found out.
But if I have the need to cancel, I do like to give an explanation, so I don't seem sketchy myself. It's rarely happened, but it has happened maybe 3 times out of the 5 years I have been doing this.

I've only been turned down by one provider in the way you described. It wasn't anything i said or did. It was because i had reviewed someone she didn't approve of. I was disappointed because she was leaving town. But in the end it was her choice and i had to respect that.

Been slow, so my nest egg hasn't grown as much as I would like, and the Mamacita is insisting I wait for my nice nest egg (refund) cause it's gonna cost a mini-fortune to move all my shit.. I mean stuff.
So I am thinking 6 month countdown right now....
I'm working on it. LOL slowly.
That's why I started posting & shit early early....
Ya know, "Provider with a plan" hahah

Interesting, Citizen44--I wonder if that was why Caroline declined to see me. That was the one instance where I actually asked her screener why and was told, "we don't answer that."
It not like I was trying to insist on seeing her, but a vague 'no, thank you' doesn't tell me whether it was a timing issue or an "I don't want to see you" issue. I'd have liked to have known whether or not to try on another date... As it turns out, I didn't bother mostly because I didn't know if I was wasting my time.
