Karma, imo, is the consequence of decisions we make. It is the consequence of other's decisions, as well.

I believe we choose people, to be in our lives, who are as emotionally healthy as we are.
When we allow people into our lives - hobby or otherwise, and draw healthy emotional and physical boundaries - we demonstrate our own emotional health.

When we allow people into our lives - hobby or otherwise, and the relationship becomes about rescuing, controlling, playing mind games, continual dishonesty, jealousy and so on...and it ends badly - we invite that drama into our lives.

If you get screwed over by someone and then, they get screwed over by circumstances or someone...that 'payback' isn't karma - it is a natural consequence of treating others like crap or living a life w/ no accountability.

It would be easy to excuse our screw-ups and negative consequences to happenstance or being a victim, while at the same time, delighting in the fact that 'karma' finally caught up w/ someone and they got what was coming to them.

Wouldn't this suggests that all cheating mongers and the providers who support them should expect some form of payback as a natural consequence.

What of those who have done no wrong and get screwed over by those they've placed their trust in such as the faithful loving SO's of cheating mongers?
Are they really getting screwed over as a natural consequence of something they've done or supposedly aren't willing to do?

I am simply addressing your logical conclusion and it's relationship to the hobby. I am not judging cheating mongers nor those providers who support their behavior.

The karmic transactions are a lot more complex than a simple reap what you sow. You can be a habitual speeder and never get a ticket. Or a one time speeder and get pulled over. Reason it to the experience of the habitual speeder to look for cops or use a radar. Or attribute it to coincidence and declare there is no such thing as karma. It is not a simple formula to discern outcomes either way.

We are all presented with varying challenges. That is karma. How we act on it presents more karma. It's a long cycle of chain of events. Eventually you and the rest of the world gets better at what we do. Karma leads towards better world. It is not meant to punish, but to teach. This even applies, if you don't believe in Karma. It is universally accepted we get better with every experience. And because of where we place ourselves we invariably invite these experiences.

Regardless of ones belief of karma, there is a balance of good and bad, light and dark, day and night. One can not simply be one.

Are threads started simply for one's understanding of a term or to send a message?

I think the OP got his feelings hurt and this thread about "KARMA" is a subtle promise/warning/suggestion to two lovebirds that one or both are going to get theirs in the end.

Give us the quick rundown. I'm too busy to investigate myself.

I'm trying to run a campaign!

How do you explain Josef Mengele escaping justice and living out his life happy in Brazil til he died having fun in a swimming pool in 1979?
Doesn't seem like anything evened out.

In your case it's pretty much always been to send a pot stirring message, sometimes direct but usually passive aggressive.

People who think and operate a certain way generally assume others think and operate as they do.

Well the disabling of OP's account would seem to lend credence to Cat's theory.
Kind of like the majority of your post have an underlying jab at those you don't like, even when the thread has nothing to do with those you don't like.
