I LOVE TO DATY as most of you can tell by my username. I've been talking to one of my ATF providers and eating pussy. She told me that she wishes that more guys knew how to eat pussy and that I needed to write book. So I've decided to share a little advice for the sake of our providers. And if there are any providers that want to add a little advice, it is more than welcome!!!!

1. PAY ATTENTION!!!! You need to pay attention to the woman and her actions/reactions as you are eating her pussy! This is the key.
a. "The jerk" The jerk is when ur woman jumps or her body jerks. This is not a good thing. It means the clit is TOO SENSITIVE and you need to lay off a little bit. This does not mean you need to quit, it just means you need to quit licking directly on the clit. I've found that a little tongue action on the hood above the clit helps. VERY LIGHT ACTION!!!! Every once in a while, test the clit, if you get the jerk again, stay light.
b. Leg Shaking. This can be a good and a bad thing. It all depends on the woman. It usually means that you've hit a very good spot, but as some say, too much of a good thing is not always good. When you get the leg shaking, you may have to ask (I have) if it's too much.
2. Clit. In my experience, very few women can cum by just intercourse alone. Most need clit action.
a. Sucking. Sucking on the clit while flicking it with my tongue is my go to action. This seems to get them every time.
b. Exposing the clit, spreading the pussy. Sometimes you need to expose the clit to give the most pleasure. You can wrap your arms around her thighs and pull her hood up exposing her clit. Your other option is to ask her to spread her pussy, this is what I prefer because it frees up my hands/fingers to more extra-curricular actions.
c. Full pussy lick. I try many different things while eating pussy, but one of things I've done that seems to get a very good response is the full pussy lick. Start at the hole and move up until you get to the clit. When you get to the clit, give it a flick with your tongue. You can do this slowly or quickly, it doesn't seem to matter.
3. Finger action. Finger action is definitely a fun part of eating pussy. Inserting a finger in that tight pussy is what every guy looks forward to. But it isn't always needed or wanted. Test the water first.
a. G-Spot. My experience has shown me that the G-spot is in the front of the pussy. It can vary about how deep it is. It isn't in any one spot on every woman. Test the depth of the water while working on that clit. While she is laying on her back, insert a finger, palm up, and rub inside the top of her pussy. Vary how deep you rub and pay attention to her reactions. You should be able to tell when you've hit the spot.
b. Tell When She Cums!!! I have figured out how to tell physically when a woman cums. Her G-spot will get hard and stick out. I think of it as a muscle flexing. I think this does it so she can get more pleasure, so let's help her out by rubbing on it.

I have found that the more she cums, the more open she is to more action. And more willing to please you.

While I wont go into specifics and of course am no longer in the area so it doesn't really benefit me (lol)..I will say...2 of the things you said were your "go to" styles that usually work - I would particularly not like. In fact they would take me out of the mood and probably turn me off a little, and when someone had tried that technique in the past, I have discouraged it (to those that paid attention of course). I'm not trying to be critical, but that's the truth.

Ladies like such different things I don't think you'll ever find a catch-all technique. I really think the best advice is to just listen and not try to make what works with someone else work for who you're with.

Also, have you considered that sometimes a lady may not want to have an "O" during a session? I know it really makes me want to pass out if done very well so it's not really the best thing to happen during warming up as I wont be much use afterwards, lol.

Like Estella said, every woman is different, so I have no "go to" technique, because for every go to technique there is a lady that hates it.

The only universal technique is to focus on her and pay attention to every thing she says or does. The direction speed and strength of her movements might tell you what she wants your tongue to be doing. Her breathing and other body language might tell you if you are turning her on or off. If you can't read her body language ask her... DATY is about her.

Beyond that, a few things to consider for your repertoire:
